To make a cake you need a ratio of sugar, eggs, flour and fat. You can play around and substitute or add to these ingredients to change the taste and texture.

Recipes from books, magazines  or the internet, passed on from family and friends, created or adapted. Influenced by ingredients where I am living, currently Brunei.

I have looked in the cupboard, searched in the market, checked out the fridge for ingredients to highlight, use up, change up and created delicious, unique cakes which use every bit of the ingredient. 

Use up, change up, make your extras and  leftovers  into cakes, jams and syrups. Flavour cakes, sandwich in the middle, add to icing, decorate.
